Master
Oh, this great experiment on humanity, when does it end! Oh, sacred Grail, this is not the end of the secret but its very beginning! In this uncertain world can anyone really think anymore? How did it happen that the divine waves brought us to the English lands where we can finally learn to distinguish the light in such measure and volume that will help us understand this world?
England is the place where you don’t need to start a correspondence with the divine, for the divine is already there. Being in unity with the real living power you perceive the true fruit of knowledge in accordance with the created entity. No need to go in search for a new one, just take the one that is available. What is needed is an effective master and not a faith invoking pastor. For where ordinary man sees day and night, the master sees the law of gravity. Where ordinary man sees darkness and light, the master sees the rotation of the stars. This is why secret societies and orders were created – in order to nurture and develop masters whose mind had a special momentum, people who were capable of providing their apprentices with the proper setting.
There is nothing special here, only proper. The Master does not depend on the level and grace of salvation, he is in the undivided fullness of being. In time things may well change but not now. The Master’s task is not to please God but to know Him. Among the alleys and cobbled streets, the rivers and the swamps, the master finds what determines the level in him. In accordance with high theology we are to expect the highest readings from the master. England is, in fact, the place that shaped the very essence of the master, the teaching of the master, if you wish.
Any rise or fall is already a secret knowledge. A knowledge explaining why people may rise and why they may fall. So, all the circumstances of our life provide us with two choices only: to fall or to rise. Any attempt to avoid falling simply exacerbates the fall.
The Master is a representative of true knowledge. The idea behind the secrecy of this knowledge is generated by the behavior of the person looking to reveal this secret. All variations may be regulated by our spirit and our heart; moreover these variations are often simply different kinds of uniformity. If we want to know our inmost being, we have to talk about things without allusions and desires but with the intention that our words may be verified even after many centuries.
The path to the sacrament of the Altar can not be demonstrated, we need to clear our sight and then we will see that our world is made up of a great number of initiations: whether it is a place, a mound, a sacred architecture or a sacred action. The Master is himself a sacrament, and this distinguishes him from the others who hide themselves behind some sentimental modesty. It is very important to comprehend this or else you might squander your spiritual power on populist devotion.
The Master never imposes an interdict on those he teaches. It is too easy and trivial. The Master is far from trends and secret orders. His sacrament is his way, this is why it is important to study the place and examine the knowledge by defining the gates we use to approach them.
It just so happened that England was the place of confluence of the East and the West in terms of the formation not only of the master but also of the apprentice. This is the place where people learned how to make use of the try square and the compass, and not simply apply them. Otherwise, how can we speak of the mystical treasure of Basra?
