Dance of Eagle

The Eagle Dance is the main dance of the Maya, although in a later period it was ousted by the Dance of the Corn, which merged three symbolic ideas of dance – the Serpent, Jaguar and Eagle. However, the plumage that was used in the Dance of the Eagle stayed as an external element of symbolism. What was the Eagle Dance for the Maya?

According to the Maya, the birds are immortal creatures that are not dependent on food. The food for them is a way to maintain the same vibrations as the Earth. The Maya believed that these creatures breed by using the wind. And the supreme symbol of development is the Eagle, representing the intimate connection between Heaven and Earth.

The Eagle is the symbol of Heaven's sounding, which is the real life according to the Maya. The last person to use the knowledge of this great Indian civilization was the Aztec ruler Nezahualcoyotl.

And I, Nezahualcoyotl, am saying:
“It's not the way we live on Earth!
We can't last forever, unless we realize the laws of Quetzal.
It won't help us the gold, or the jade,
Not even the feathers of Quetzal
We must start to waft, and then we'll be eternal!”

The Dance of the Eagle

The Flight of the Olmec

“The Dance of the Eagle” is a supernatural dance, crossing over with the the Flight of the Olmec dance. This a dance-symbol aimed at the reversing of the energy body. Its mission is to identify the super-frequency proportions, related to rhythm, where the movement just hides the internal sound, supporting the Earth's axis (mundi). The Maya concept for mundi is a "priestly path" or a “path of travel, or flight”.

The Flight of the Eagle is a transition from the temporal flow to a dimensional. In reality, this is a line of numbers, or a cyclical passage through the six conditions of time, which are limited by the cardinal points, the nadir and the zenith.

The Way of the Shaman

Putting yourself in the zone of influence of the dance means to reconnect with the highest experiences of transformation that are reflected in the Mayan concept aporami, or the symmetry. This formula expresses certain figurative movements, which change the laws of our existence. The Eagle Dance frees us from linear movements, and even from fire (which, for example, can be traced in the Dance of the Jaguar), and completes the ternary base of transformation, consisting of the idea and the symbol of Quetzalcoatl, that is the Serpent, Jaguar and Eagle.

The Flight of the Eagle transfers us from the status of an earthly object to the status of a divine one. Thus, the dance implements the most important law of the highest tonalities, which is laid down in the laws of the Mayan civilization, showing, and most importantly, proving the idea of a new era.

New Era

Tlaloc

The dance sets the task of practical realization of the sacred connection between the dancers and also the task to actually move into a fractal reality. If we don't understand and express a similar connection, then we are doomed, at best, to copy some external objects without identifying the actual reason for the causes. In reality, we need to achieve the necessary chemical-physical changes and, consequently, biological characteristics in the body. According to the Maya, the God is the idea of work, and the idea of work is the dance, because the dance is a formula, including the essence of restructuring, changing and transformation. Of course, today it is difficult to establish the limits of the possible, but one thing is clear: the knowledge associated with the Eagle is the pinnacle of the entire chain of actions of the representatives of this civilization – no matter how we consider them, socially or practically.

The ability to identify yourself not only with the Eagle or the Jaguar, but also, for example, with the Corn, indicates a very strong visualization affect, which the Maya experienced, in fact, by living their lives in a phantom, that is a double. They disclosed, or split the Earth, which means that they managed to get away from its influence, and that's a very interesting principle of their existence. It is no coincidence that the process of splitting – the process of grinding, was the Maya's highest principle of existence.

They called this process – the image of Tlaloc, who subsequently became the Aztec God. This is an extremely important concept that opens the door to higher worlds, splitting the higher fields of the temporary space (they were thirteen in the Mayan culture). Thus, the Dance of the Eagle teaches to a transition from the triangular positioning to a quadrangular one.

The Dance of the Eagle give us the possibility to no longer work on the process of building, or even creation, i.e. what, in fact, we did in the Dance of the Jaguar and the Serpent. We actually break the egg of time, by passing in those frequency characteristics that generally neutralize the processes that are so firmly entrenched for centuries, not only in the people's affairs, but also in their minds.

In reality, our minds can live in six different conditions, according to the laws of the Maya: the condition of the axis (b'akab), in the cave, in the center of the cave, in the highest energy channel (hux winikhab 'kalomte'), in the power of Tlaloc, which is expanding the space, and in the six celestial pyramids.

Six positions of realization

Six Celestial Chambers

The six positions of the realization are the channels for the supernatural revival that can pull the whole life energy of a person and transfer it into other realms of existence. A distinctive feature and most important knowledge in the Dance of the Eagle is the position of the hands, which according to the beliefs of the Maya, in fact, represents the consciousness. But it's important to understand that the Maya divided the consciousness from the man. In other words, those who were endowed with consciousness, from our point of view, were not considered as human, as they opened the channel of the higher powers.

Mayan mudras

The physical aspects of impersonation in the Dance of the Eagle are important, not the movements, i.e. the consciousness must pass the stage of transmutation. For this purpose is needed an understanding of the rhythm and sound, which contributes to the evoking of the necessary tension. This tension has its own name – YajawteTe 'K'inich. In reality, it expresses the process that must occur during the dance, and it also has a material basis, which was subsequently combined with the divine identification.
