Daoist Body: Understanding the Twelve Internal Organs Seminar
The ‘Daoist Body’ is a fundamental notion in Daoist yoga and alchemy. Its study is a must for those willing to delve into the nature of the internal transformation; it is a key aspect of the so-called ‘Sacral Anatomy’.
The twelve organs, usually referred to as ‘Internal Vessels’ in Daoist yoga, are considered to be one of the foundations of the human body. Their harmonization is an important part of the preparatory training for alchemical transformation. Furthermore, the adepts need to restructure the geometrical proportions of the organs and this, in turn, is a prerequisite for the acquisition of the ‘Marvelous Elixirs’.
