Egyptian Alchemy. Starting point: Lecture [online]

Date: 06/11/2021
Address: ZOOM

Egyptian alchemy is the starting point in the study of alchemical science. It is a prerequisite for achieving transformation and for overcoming the influence of Apophis - that which prevents light (the power of Ra) from manifesting.

In the very beginning, alchemy was an effort aimed at: overcoming obstacles to the development of individuals (proto-humans), as well as removing everything that prevented light from manifesting. It has also become a means of preserving light. Behind all this is the power of Hepri, a manifestation of higher consciousness (Neb-er-tcher) that the Atlanteans interacted with before the consolidation of space when the Earth was created from the essence of Nun.

Hepri actually manifests 12 types of consciousness that represent forces personified in the Egyptian gods. Among them, Hepri himself takes the place of a god and is considered the operating system of Egyptian alchemy. It is the understanding of Hepri as a force and process that leads us to the beginning, the starting point in the study of alchemy.

Once the time of the Atlanteans was over, the need for a different operating system arose, so the brain took on this role. Egyptian alchemy provided an opportunity for conscious existence and development, for the materialization of the conditions needed for the formation of consciousness. Osiris became a symbol of the creation of alchemical consciousness, while the operation of the alchemical consciousness was left with Isis – symbol of the order and laws of Maat.

Thus, Egyptian alchemy came to stand for order, law and discipline - everything that elevates us above chaos; that, which can maintain both the process of transformation and the light (khay) needed to connect with the higher consciousness, with Horus and Thoth. What is more, alchemy became also the process of creating light.

Note that the very formation of ancient Egyptian civilization was an alchemical process. The macrocosmic consciousness, represented by the power of Hepri, created the place of light known as Heliopolis, where Egyptian civilization began.

In the beginning, the light came from Shu and Tefnut, who created the Lower Sky (known as the Earth - Geb) and the Upper Sky (Nut or Upper Earth). This was not the macrocosm, but the limits within which creation became possible. And the first creative forces were Horus, Set and Isis.

Horus represented Osiris and Nephthys, or the five forces of consciousness (where consciousness itself was whole and the rest represented something similar to subconscious minds). This five-fold division of consciousness creates the five aspects within alchemy. Each type of consciousness was associated with a separate type of soul, i.e., was animated.
